How to install your Cyprus eSIM
The QR arrives on WhatsApp and email within minutes of payment. Install on Wi-Fi before you fly; the plan starts counting when it first connects at your destination.
iPhone (iOS 17 or later)
- Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR from the WhatsApp or email message (or enter the code manually).
- Label it "Travel", keep your Indian SIM as the default line for calls.
- On landing: Settings → Mobile Service → the new line → turn on Data Roaming, and set it as Mobile Data.
Android (Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus)
- Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR from the message; Pixel: Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM.
- Keep the Indian SIM for calls and WhatsApp; choose the new eSIM for Mobile data.
- On landing: turn on Data roaming for the eSIM line. If the APN is asked for, it is in the delivery message.
Questions before you buy
Does the plan include calls or a local number?
No — every AirZippy plan is data-only with hotspot. Calls and WhatsApp keep working on your Indian number over the eSIM's data, and WhatsApp calls cost nothing extra.
When does the validity start?
When the eSIM first connects to a network at the destination, not when you buy it. Install at home on Wi-Fi and the days only start counting after you land.
Which phones work?
iPhone XS / XR and newer bought in India, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and most 2022-onward OnePlus, Motorola and Nothing phones. Dial *#06# — an EID line means the phone has an eSIM.
What if it does not connect?
Nine times out of ten it is Data Roaming switched off or the eSIM not set as the data line. Reply on the same WhatsApp chat and a person checks the line with you; if the eSIM never connected, we refund.
